Canadian Screen Awards 2024 Announces Nominees Across Animation, VFX, and Gaming

The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television has revealed the nominees for this year’s highly anticipated Canadian Screen Awards 2024. With categories honoring the best in television, film, and digital media from the world of animation, visual effects, and video games. This year’s nominees showcase the incredible creative talent working in the Canadian entertainment industry.

Several animated series and shorts are recognized with nominations. Including the pre-school series Wild Kratts, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and PAW Patrol. In the short film categories, films like Aphasia, Miserable Miracle, and Return to Hairy Hill will battle it out for the win. On the feature side, the visual effects nominees include BlackBerry, Ru, and Infinity Pool. Showing off the world-class VFX work being done in Canada.
