Astros manager Dusty Baker, a name synonymous with baseball excellence, has decided to hang up his boots. After a 26 year journey, as a manager in the leagues, which was highlighted by winning the World Series just last year Baker has made the decision to step away from the spotlight.
“I want to express my gratitude to Jim Crane and the Houston Astros. They had faith in me and together we accomplished something ” Baker stated. “Jims honesty and openness have always been noticeable which made our partnership more special.”
