Specifically he encountered problems with the games ‘Throw’ and ‘Kameo’ inputs, which are usually assigned to L1 and R1. Unfortunately these inputs were not registering correctly despite The Kompetitors attempts to remap the controls.

This issue is not an occurrence. Many players have reported problems during offline tournaments. Some players even had to restart the game application in order to resolve the issue. Interestingly discussions on Reddit indicate that this glitch is not exclusive, to the PS5 but has also been experienced by Xbox players.
