Tiger Woods Survives First Round Test, Faces Marathon Friday at Augusta
After weather disrupted the start of the tournament, five-time champion Tiger Woods showed his grit to battle through tricky conditions at Augusta National to finish the first round 1 under par through 13 holes. However, the challenges are far from over for the 15-time major winner, as he now faces the daunting task of completing 23 consecutive holes of golf on Friday as he looks to contend for a sixth Green Jacket.

Despite finding trouble off the tee at 11 and 12, he saved par on both holes with clutch up-and-downs. He then punched out of the trees on 13 and two-putted for another hard-fought par to remain at 1 under.
