Target Total: Retail Giant Launches All-In-One Membership Program

The retail giant recently announced Target Total, a paid subscription that rolls together many of the perks shoppers love about Target into one convenient package. For $49 annually, members get free two-day shipping on eligible items, same-day delivery through Shipt, and more.

Everything You Need Under One Umbrella

Target Total brings together shipping, in-store discounts, and exclusive deals under one umbrella. Members get free two-day shipping on eligible items shipped from Target stores, as well as same-day delivery from Target and partner retailers for orders over $35. They’ll also enjoy 5% off every shopping trip when paying with a Target RedCard.

Target is positioning Target Total as a one-stop solution for customers’ shopping needs. In addition to shipping perks, the program bundles together automatic cart discounts, partner offers from brands like Ulta Beauty and Apple, and personalized bonuses tailored to each member’s shopping habits.

The new subscription launches next month, but Target is already touting Target Total as a key part of its growth strategy. Only time will tell if the “all-in-one” approach resonates with customers in an increasingly competitive retail landscape. But with its massive store footprint and loyal RedCard base, Target may have what it takes to go total.
