Sky Mobile Customers Face Frustrations as Technical Troubles Take Over
Some Sky Mobile customers found themselves without internet access once more on Thursday, as the carrier worked to resolve technical issues plaguing the network. Over 300 reports flooded in throughout the day citing problems with 3G, 4G and 5G connections.
Users turned to social media to air their grievances, with many frustrated they couldn’t rely on their mobile data. “It’s really not ideal when Sky Mobile goes down, as I need a stable connection for work,” said one affected customer. Another pleaded for updates, tired of the repetitive outages.
Downdetector, an outage tracking site, showed a sharp spike in reports concerning Sky Mobile. Around 80% involved phones, while 20% centered on internet access woes. A spokesperson for the company acknowledged troubles in the morning but said the issue was addressed. However, more problems would arise in the evening hours.
Addressing the Root of Recurring Troubles
In a statement, Sky Mobile assured users it was actively investigating what led to the disruptions. “We’re working to identify the root cause to prevent seeing these issues again,” a representative commented. “Our team is committed to reliability, and we know how important constant connectivity is for our customers.”
