Each artist has had a huge influence on modern art and is a very famous name in the world of art.

Leonardo da Vinci

While Kahlo had a successful career as an artist, her health began to deteriorate and she eventually lost her leg. In her last years, she underwent seven operations on her spine. She wrote a series of letters to Dr. Leo Eloesser.

One of her paintings, Without Hope, depicts Frida Kahlo lying in bed in the desert. This painting is said to be inspired by her experience of the death of her girlfriend.

Jackson Pollock
