Conservative MP William Wragg has resigned from his influential role as party whip. Claiming he was the target of a “honeytrap” attempt to compromise him. The backbencher MP for Hazel Grove in Greater Manchester said he had received reports that several male MPs had faced similar “honeytrap” set-ups.
