Apple Watch Series 10 To Debut New Health Sensors
The upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 is rumored to include some exciting new health features not seen before on the smartwatch. According to reports, the new flagship wearable from Apple will add blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection for the first time.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, a reliable source for Apple leaks, claims the Apple Watch 10 will gain the ability to check blood pressure. This new sensor will allow users to monitor their blood pressure trends over time and get alerts if it is increasing. While it won’t provide exact readings initially, future versions may have that capability. Sleep apnea detection is another new health tool to be coming to the Apple Watch 10 using breathing patterns during sleep.
New Design and Processor Expected
In addition to the new health sensors, the Apple Watch 10 is rumored to feature an updated design along with a faster processor for improved performance. No other details are known yet on any design changes or the chip that will power the device. As the first major redesign since the Apple Watch Series 4, fans are excited to see what changes Apple has in store for the look of its next-gen smartwatch.
The Apple Watch Series 10 release is still months away, with Bloomberg suggesting a typical fall launch timeframe. As new health features like blood pressure monitoring are still in early stages, it will be interesting to see how accurate these sensors are on the initial version. Only time will tell what other surprises Apple has up its sleeve for its next flagship Apple Watch Series 10.
