The UAWs strikes, against automakers, such as Ford have been going on for, than a month. These strikes have led to significant supply chain disruptions and subsequent Ford UAW Strike Layoffs. This week, Ford announced the layoff of 364 additional workers across two states, attributing this to a decreased demand for parts due to the strikes.

Fords recent statement brought attention to the decision to let go of 354 employees at the Transmission Plant, in Sharonville, Ohio and 10 employees at the Components Plant in Rawsonville, Michigan. These layoffs are a result of the reduction, in part production, which is typically supplied to the Kentucky Truck Plant.
