Whatsapp Introduces New Pinning Feature To Organize Important Chats

WhatsApp has rolled out a new update introducing an enhanced pinning feature to help users stay organized in chats. The popular messaging platform now allows pinning up to three messages in a chat.

Previously, WhatsApp only allowed pinning a single message. But with the new update, users can pin multiple messages together for quick access to important information. This can be especially useful for groups where users often share important details like meeting addresses, contact updates or planning logistics.

Now users can pin messages of any type including text, images, videos, documents, locations or polls. The pinned messages will remain at the top of the chat for easy visibility. Users can long press on a message and select “Pin” to pin it. They also get an option to choose how long the message remains pinned – 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
